Decided to look for trainer

I believe I have decided to look for a trainer. This horse that I have is beyond my abilities. How does one begin to look for a trainer? Can you give me some estimates on how much they cost? I mean I just paid for a horse, and all the necessary stuff for him, and I am a little tight at the moment.
I went into my geldings stall today and as I was scratching him, he began to turn his rear toward me, so I stepped forward and he kept going. I grabbed his main and hung on because he kept spinning. When he stopped I patted him and spoke to him and thought he was calmed down. But later he would not allow me near him in the stall. He became down right dangerous so I turned him out into the pasture for now. This was more for my saftey than for the horses.
