My brother came walking up to me one afternoon after leaving on my Appaloosa for a ride...Asked me "Where is your horse?" I am thinking with you I hope but no he wasn't. Come to find out my brothers hat had blew off while they were riding and my brother got off to get his hat about 1/2 mile from home. Not thinking my brother dropped the rains and walked back for his hat....well my horse took that as a means to go home (something he did not do with me, was not fond of my brother) and off he ran at a full gallop. Brother was not happy but it was a very long time before he ever asked to ride my horse again....okay it was funny to me at the time....
