This very hard lump appeared on my horse's chest in between his breast bone and shoulder. As far as I can tell he was not kicked, as there is no swelling or tenderness around it. It came up over the past three days. It is right under the skin and is very very hard. What could this be? He is an Arab/Cobb, 10 yrs and very healthy. I ride him 5 days a week.
