Hi there,
I have an 18 year old QH gelding that I ride about 4-6 times a week. I bought a well fitting 17" seat, regular tree Stubben Camelot saddle about 6 months ago. Up until now, he has had no problems with it. When I go to put the saddle on his back, his ears pin back, sometimes attempting to nip.
The saddle weighs a good 7 to 10 pounds. Would the extra weight (I weigh 107) affect his tolerance of the saddle? I love everything about it except the weight! Any info would be appreciated! Thanks :O)
