Well, after a long wait, we finally got our new truck (ordered Sept 20th). It drives great and you don't even hear the engine. And someone came today and bought the Dodge so things are going great!
The new truck is a Ford F-450 Super Duty with the new 6.0L V8 diesel engine. It is a 6spd and that will take some getting used to the shifting pattern and it is extremely tight (like a sports car). Here's a side shot of the monster without all the toots and whistles my dad has for it.
