Ahem...I did say "no whining"....you get easy questions in the regular rounds, can't make the bonus questions easy or it defeats the purpose of being bonus questions!
:1. To what use did they put the first 7 horses that were sent by the London Company to help settle Jamestown in 1610?

Yep - they ate them...I think I could have come up with better uses, but you know the saying "Men are from mars..."

:
:2. Where was the horse breeding industry centered in Ancient Greece?

Good guesses, but the answer here was Thessaly

:
:3. Who brought many fine desert stallions into Spain in the 3rd Century BC during his unsuccessful attempt to invade Carthage?

And according to my book, this would be Hannibal. That was all before my time however!

:
: *******************Double Bonus****************

:
:The oldest engraved tablets written on horsemanship were written in 1400 BC by a Hittite. What was his name?

Wow - and I thought this one would be much harder than the other two - Mark was correct, the Hittite's name was indeed Kikkulus.

Good job :) I'll go figure out the scores then come back and post them. This board format makes it a little tougher than our other boards were....
