Hi, I'm new here at Horsehobbyist. I've been riding dressage for three years, and i'd go to those little hunter/jumper shows that had walk/trot, walk/trot/canter equitation classes, etc. just to get some 'show miles'. Well, a dressage show is coming up and i'm finally going to enter the Beginning/training level walk trot class. (i hope that's right, well, it is walk/trot.)
But, aside from that i was just wondering, how long have you ridden Dressage? And what do you think of it?
I actually heard someone say that its 'just riding for style', now that, i couldn't believe. Its sooo much more than that. Dressage has so much history behind it, and i really think that if you can ride Dressage you can ride anything, and stay in the saddle while doing so. ^_^
