Ok - Have to brag!
Bubba went to Sedalia this past weekend. He needed 1 1/2 points to qualify for Worlds. There were 4 or 5 colts in his class (Deena told me the right number but I plead senility!). One of them was One Impressive Dream, so that there makes for a tough class! Bubba came out of the class with one First and 3 seconds!
Then, to make it even better, he went and won a Grand and a Reserve. All in all, he earned 5 points Saturday - almost could have qualified for Worlds with that one show! So he's heading to Worlds! I still don't know if we'll be going with him or not, I'd like to, will just be a matter of $ and time...
Not bad for a colt that by all rights should have died, and almost did, back at the beginning of the year with all he went through with his colic surgery and recovery!
